Broken things

A couple things on the forum seems to be broken.


1) When I try to search a member, I get "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms".

The search instructions reads:
"All fields on this form are optional. Most fields will accept a partial input (for example, you could enter Jo into the 'User Name' field in order to find users called John, Joe, Joseph and Jolene)."

It does not work that simple. I get the "no matches" if I type a part of the member name, and also if I type the full name.



2) The member list. If I sort it by postcount and try to click to next page I get a problem. The list is now back to alphabetical order again. If I click the arrow and type page number manually in the box, it will work and I get to the page without the list going back to alphabetical order.

And would it not be a good idea to have "Members" on the navigation bar? Now you have to know where to look in order to find the list.

If it didn't hurt the server performance too much it would be nice to have signup date in the member list.

As for your first question, I'm not having that problem. It's working just fine for me. I don't know why it wouldn't be working for you.

1. Odd. I haven't encountered that error but I'll have a look into it. I'm sure it'll be an easy fix!

2. That is something I've know about for a while... it's kind of a side-effect of me improving something else. I know I'm being a little vague but it's about vBulletin stuff and very, very dull. I'll double-check though and see what can be done.

1) I have figured out this one. I got the error when I searched for strikesback's accounts. When I search other members it works. Why are banned members not searchable and not listed? Their accounts still exists.

I hope what was improved outweighs the drawback, and I guess it does. Thanks for double-checking though.
And that stuff is not dull btw.
