bookmark vanishing act

3 days ago I was browsing the web when it started acting slow, so I restarted this laptop only to find that Firefox lost ALL of my bookmarks. I was only now able to find this forum again and re-bookmark it. but I lost my bookmarks again right after the first time when I was getting them all back.. I like Firefox's set up, but I'd prefer not to keep losing my bookmarks..

That sounds strange, I've never heard of that before. (But I don't use Firefox.)
I searched 'Firefox losing bookmarks' and it seems alot of people are having this problem.

Some threads on this topic are freaking huge. 19 pages.

Look, I found this article "Lost bookmarks". It looks great, but try other search results also.
