The Master Debater
Gonna do some polls about the First Person era of the series, or the “Connections trilogy”, if you will. It doesn’t look like more than one poll can be posted at a time, so I’ll need to make multiple posts, so it may take a bit before I put up all the ones I have in mind, but let’s start here:

Best game in the trilogy? Can be based off anything. How scary it is, how good it plays, voice acting, replay value, lore additions, whatever.

Requiem. The fighting system and the environments automatically give it more replay value—and not just because it has a parry feature. Gun tricks and the ability to freely chain attacks is a page right out of 6 and is one of the best parts about Requiem. Just in general Leon’s half is like a return to a style of Resident Evil that I personally like.

Even without Leon it still emanates Resident Evil. I haven’t played them yet, but when I first saw 7 & 8 I was not feeling the enemy designs at all.

I am going with Biohazard. It pulled the series back onto its feet. It is scary and brought new players in by the switch to 1st person. The Beginning hour, the kitchen demo, and all of the DLCs were great.
Requim being a close 2nd.....
