The Thing. It was similar to the original Resident Evil in the sense that it carried the true Survival Horror elements with it. The fear was there, the intensity was there, it was challenging and a fun game overall.
Not to mention the "soundtrack" in the credits was called "After Me", a song by Saliva. So it had a badass ending theme. It's graphics were also reasonable for it's time.
Overall, a fun, enjoyable and scary game. True Survival Horror. It's like Resident Evil ****ed Silent Hill and gave birth to The Thing.
- I never really cared much for RE: CVX because the horror atmosphere was mostly gone by this point and replaced by action. Decent characters, sub-par storyline and decent graphics. It's a shame Capcom didn't make use of the games lighting effects.
I knock points off this title because this game can ****ing SCREW the player if he's not sure what he's doing, meaning you have to start right from the beginning of the game, despite how far into the game you are.
Overall, a reasonably decent game and should be given a chance before casting it aside.
- I don't know what Extermination is, so I can't say anything in regards to that title.
