Guys place too much focus on the omission of the item box in 0. I think people just get bored in the training facility area and quit—and fair enough, there’s only like one meaningful cutscene there and you need like 15 keys to advance to the bridge.

Guys place too much focus on the omission of the item box in 0. I think people just get bored in the training facility area and quit—and fair enough, there’s only like one meaningful cutscene there and you need like 15 keys to advance to the bridge.

The focus on the item box has to do with the chance that you can soft block yourself. Also, leaving items on the floor can make it difficult to pick them back up because of the camera.

I refrain from playing RE0. Playing it once was ok, but the non-item box issue ruins the game. If you don't have the hook shot when you need it .... good luck.....

Yep, this game is the worst for me, I hate this game and one of the biggest reasons is no item box. I don’t play with guides so going forward in the game only to realize you had to drop an item and it happens to be one you need then you have to run back to get it….been there, done that, this game sucks.
