Ok Cyber Assassins.. i need your technical know how.

My Netbook is no longer connecting to the Wifi hub that i've got connected to my desk top.

The Netbook Reads that there is a signal, but it simply wont connect.

I've tried a few tricks, but its not happening.

I've tried looking at computer help pages but c'mon those guys type in Matrix code, it's all Dutch to me.

I even phoned my service provider and to be honest.... i couldn't understand a god damn word they were saying... You probably have it in america or maybe not, but in Britain somebody thought it would be hilarious to put help centres in different countries from the ones the problem is in. The end result is you get no where and end up losing the head like this.

Anyways back to the point... Anybody ... ?

I'm sure there is a box i havent ticked or something ass-clownish like that...

help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

If you're using vista or windows 7, right click on the network connection thing on the bottom right corner of the screen. Click connect to a network. If you cannot find your network, get an ethernet cable and directly connect your netbook to your router and connect to the network it cannot connect to wirelessly. . Next, open Command Prompt and type "ipconfig /all" look down and search for the IPv4 address. Now, run your browser as an administrator and type the IPv4 address into the website bar. You should be taken to your router control page. Depending on what router brand you have, it may be different on how to reset it, but that is all you have to do. Reset the router to factory default settings.
