Resident Evil 5 A NEW virus?

K so since 5 is suppose 2 be the sequel to 4 and during that e3 2008 demonstration the guy said they were villagers infected w a parasite, could it be that wesker took the sample retrieved in 4 and enhanced the las plagas? :-\confusion :'(nausea any opinions on this new act of psychotic bioterrorisim? Plz respond!

First of all Resi 5 isnt a sequel to Resi 4. In all the develepor interviews the devs said that it is meant to be an entirely new Resi game. Also as for the parasite, i thought it was meant to be the root of where spencer got the basis to develop the T-virus. But like Cousintony sais, dont hold ma to it.

Kool but during the e3 thing the guy kept saying zombies and the re5 guy kept saying infected villagers with a parasite plus they have those things comin out of their heads like in re4

Well, they are villagers again so thats pretty much screwed my idea haha

actully it is the sequel to re4...re5 happends right after re4 while leon is taking ashley home re5 is begining the only reason its is the sequel to re4 is because ada has a sample of los plagus at the end of re4 and they went back to the p-virus from re0 because they are mixing the los plagus and p-virus together somehow.

wether ada has any thing to do with it or not,it is not a sequel to re4.
it IS a sequel to the older main series berfor RE4 came along.
re4 was a side story.
