Yea it says the dlcs will release on the 14th and the gold edition of RE7 releases on the 24th. But those are the release dates for Japan so it might be later for everyone else.

"End of Zoe" comes off as a little spoily. I really hope it can live up to the rest of the game and some how connects to the rest of the series. Wasn't it stated that the final DLC was going to have some connection? This makes me a little surprised that it's focused on Zoe now, then again he character is the most mysterious in RE7 and "Not A Hero" will allegedly deal with Lucas according to the leaks.

Glad to hear we finally got a trailer and release date for the Not A Hero DLC. Like I said before, I'm just anxious to see where they take this, Chris is working undercover perhaps? It's plausible since we have no clue if this "Blue Umbrella" is good or bad yet. And Capcom is pretty adamant it IS Chris, so take from that what you will.

I might be more looking forward to the End of Zoe DLC, though since I think we all know this is gonna end with Lucas getting his ass kicked.

I think it's a mix of both. Apparently Blue Umbrella creates anti-B.O.W's which are utilize to kill of the viruses and contain the outbreaks quickly. They are in contact with the BSAA and likely other agencies. Now what it's ties to Umbrella are and if there is a sinister leadership and some other agenda is yet to be made. It makes no sense that Umbrella, a symbol of fear in the public eyes, is the one defending them.

So we don't know that. And depending who is involved there could be reasons for Chris to infiltrate them, that's if he's not working with them legitimately and they are the good guys. I think there will be some shady **** in play and hopefully we find out more about Tentsu/rival company.

Some extra details: not confirmed though however

Not a hero continues straight on from the end of the game. It has old and new areas involved setting wise, a new type of molded and a final boss fight.

Edit:
Seems the new molded will be to do with a new gameplay mechanic, toxic/bio gas and gas mask.
New infected seems to release harmful gas.

End of Zoe:
Will be focused heavily on horror, in a new setting and apparently one of the lead directors on the silent hills PT has worked on it.

Apparently not a hero was worked on by a 3rd party but capcom decided to make a load of changes hence the delay.

Do we really need a gold edition when there’s been a deluxe edition available with a season pass since January? Even Not a Hero isn’t a reason to pick this up, since everybody is getting that no matter what edition they purchased.

It's likely just has everything included on the disk so people don't need to download it. That's really probably the only advantage of it and it's kind of convenient to have everything on the disk if they aren't planning any more DLC after that. Also I think the Deluxe edition is out of print. After this I think they will only be selling Gold edition of the game.

I doubt it's even on the disc though. All it might do is save you the hassle of entering a code for a season pass, but every item would most likely still have to install separately as if you purchased the DLC. Come to think of it, even the Gold Edition of RE5 came with a code.

For anyone still doubting it's Chris:

"The reborn Umbrella detected information on bioterrorism and a biological weapons development program. Chris Redfield from the BSAA is invited to take command."

So no, he hasn't left the BSAA, he was just invited to take command of New Umbrella/Blue Umbrella for this particular mission. But yeah, this and the punch mechanic pretty much confirm it's Chris, just with a whole new character model. Again, it wouldn't be the first time they drastically changed a character model, see Revelations Jill. Hell, knowing Capcom, it may not even be the last.

There's a good chance what you say is right given how patch happy the PS4 and Xbox One. While it's convenient for developers in many ways, it's also a bad thing but that's another subject entirely. It would have been more convenient for everyone to just have them on the disk though. Justify a reason for a re-release on Capcom's behalf because so far there is ZERO differences between RE7: Deluxe edition or the Gold Edition. You get the same amount of content. So the Gold Edition is 100% moot. So what differs it? Is it just a repackaged Deluxe edition in a new box?
