Resident Evil - Code: Veronica Anybody else think this should get some sort of a remake, like what they are doing with RE2?

I would also love this but given how long the remake of 2 is taking I think you might be waiting awhile

Yeah, true. I have a feeling they might do 3, and just skip Veronica. Who knows... Outbreak and Code Veronica are still my favourites in the series, right next to 2, 1 and 4 or 7.

I'd prefer a remake of 3 over CV any day. Still to this prefer original trilogy over any other entry

3 was pretty amazing, I just feel it was more of a action game. Though the same could be said with Code V, and 4. But yeah, a remake of 3 would be pretty fun. Wonder how 2 is gonna come out. I doubt it will have the over-the-shoulder camera angle. I love my tank controls.

Yeah, a RECV remake would be good, to address all the game's flaws. It's a personal opinion, of course, but I don't like CV at all. To me, it's the worst of the classic RE by miles. It's a step back to everything we got until Resident Evil 3. No dodge, no special aim button for explosives (which is bad, because the default aim always go for explosive, even if the barrel is at the other side of the room and there's a zombie close to you.) , clunky zombie animations (seriously...the zombie's movements are worse than in RE3), low replayability and just one ending and an awful extra mode. Also, don't like the history and Alexia is silly as Saddler, maybe even more. I'm not saying that CV is a bad game, but the others are better. Maybe a Remake can tend to those issues, and get the story a little better (I like DC version of CV though. Insane Alfred is very cool, Steve is less annoying, altough Alexia is even sillier, but I take.)
So yeah, a remake would be welcomed. But of course, some people thinks that CV is the best of the series and that's ok. But for me, it was always kind of meh.

I liked Code: Veronica, but definitely not as much as I liked RE3. I think the boss battles had a tendency to get really frustrating, but other than that, it was a good game.
The overall vibe of RE3 was much more appealing to me, though.
