Play them in order, otherwise you won't get what's going on, you also won't catch any references. But to answer your question, yeah RE4 features Wesker, but only in a minor role.

I preferred RE2 Leon, I don't know why. That's not to say I didn't like RE4 Leon, maybe it's just cause I preferred RE2 over 4.

I kind of agree with both parties, I miss the emphasis on survival horror, but I think RE4 and RE5 are very entertaining games. And in RE4 the horror element is still there, if not a little overshadowed by the action element.

Yeah I'd like to see a full RE game on the Wii, not just a rail shooter. RE4 Wii Edition was good, and I'm sure they've since improved on the Wii's technology since then. They really have no reason not to.
