I'm extremely disappointed to be honest, no I'm not hating because it's the new cool thing, in fact I'm not hating at all. I was actually hoping for Outbreak and Outbreak File # 2 Remakes in HD when I first saw the initial scans (with the arms and whatnot), but when I heard it was this I thought that this could perhaps be the newer Outbreak so maybe we wouldn't need HD remakes, I was wrong. It just looks like Uncharted to me, (which is a good game, I'm just stating this as this is what I feel it looks like) there's no tension, which is what Resident Evil used to be about.
Let me clarify. I'm not saying this looks like a bad game, nor am I saying it will play terribly, looks terrible etc. It looks decent but I was just hoping for a more retro Resident Evil feel rather than all guns blazing again.

Yea i know how you feel, but i'm not entirely dissapointed i kinda figured it would go this route being the natural state of direction the gameplay has taken. Figuring in how much fun multi-play resi 5 is i think they would be biting into the syringe not to have the gameplay set up like mercs. This is strictly a multi-player faceted game and doubt any of the classic nuances will remain intact if only for a minority of the game. This is kinda the game i've been wanting to try but too scared to admit i liked. Fusing the two worlds of classic zombie with resi 5 camera system should be interesting and fun.
I'm not getting this game because i want to play Resident Evil REmake, (although i do want to play it) I'm getting this game because it should be a great multiplayer experience with maybe a hint of the classics. And who wouldnt want to 'change' history. But again, hopefully this game wont be an inclination as to where the series is going. Hopefully Capcom isnt that stupid

I'm digging this because we will get to run around and kill zombies, T-Virus mutants, and B.O.W.s. Theres an interview (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3LGE9vBfEI) that said there will be other characters besides Leon in the game (Claire) and an enemy at the end of the campaign that RE fans will know. Its gotta be Nemesis. Or maybe Birkin.

I think this is badASS! Face it...we are playing as an Umbrella special forces team, so we know we are going in guns a blazzin unlike the S.T.A.R.S. who went in scared $hitless...

One question: who are the enemies now? The humans or the zombies? I mean, Wesker could be counted as a human and he was the enemy of most of the games, but what you should really worry about were the zombies. Now, it looks like you should worry about bullets from the other party. I'm quite dissapointed.
But oh well, who am I to say this? It's actually getting old to complain about Resident Evil.

I hope its birkin, only because nemises is getting too much airtime. I think it would be cool to kill him before he transforms yea?
Yea i would imagine this would be the only force actually trained to handle this 'type' of situation.

It seems we've been a little mislead. The goal of the game is just to cover Umbrella's ass, not to kill Leon. It looks like we will get the CHOICE to either kill Leon or not. Possible Claire and other characters as well.

I knew it. It didn't really look logical for those trained, Umbrella soldiers to kill just a rookie cop who doesn't even know a **** about the Umbrella and co. I also wonder how people came up with that. Only because Leon was in the trailer in the last few seconds. I think he'll be in the game, but I think that Capcom put him in the trailer, just to show people that the game really took place at somewhere in RE2.
Edit: Hey, didn't saw that video, but one +point is that you can get infected!

I say it`s birkin makes more sense, since he ****s anything in his way where as nemesis was programed to track down and kill stars. So my money is on Birkin making an appearance at the end :3
