Well I've always hated Chris and Jill has always been my fav female character, if they become a couple, I'm officially done with the RE saga, I'll even burn my copy of RE6 to prove it and my Chris slaughtering pictures on DeviantART will be endless

But I dont wanna jump to conclusions yet.

If the merc is Alex Wesker, he dosnt look like he will become as lovable as Albert was.

Why should companies reframe from pairings because the fans slashed the characters themselves? That's unfair and just silly. And regardless of who is paired canonly people will ship to their own taste. Ada and Leon have kissed, that does not stop Cleon fans.

Wesker500 I understand you don't like Chris but if there has ever been a more obvious love connection in any video game I have ever seen it is Chris and Jill. Overtime I have seen many of the RE fans rooting for it, and that would probably make the majority happy.

As for the pic of them kissing, that's one I have to see to believe.

Yeaaah... I just can't get into the Chris/Jill pairing especially because after two years of Chris thinking that Jill was dead and when he finally saves her he doesn't do anything- no kiss, no hug- screw professionalism at that point, man! Even at the end they're not even sitting together in the chopper.

Also the way he simply brushes Sheva and Jessica's questions off with "we were partners".... It just isn't completely clicking with me.

They just seem like really close friends- with that kind of job, people become very close with the ones they work with. It's a field of work and a way of life that only you and your partner(s) can understand.

Though maybe Jill is in the same boat I'm in as far as waiting/hoping for her coworker to FINALLY make that move... hoping he grabs her ass, pulls her close and lays the smack down on her- oh sorry putting a bit of my own feelings into this.

She does make that comment that Chris "knows how to keep a girl waiting". Though that could also be taken a few different ways as well.

I put myself in their position. If I was a man that suffered through those kind of nightmares and mental damage, had a female best friend who also had the same experience that I could relate to, and cared enough about me to throw herself out of a window with a inhumane creature, I honestly don't think I could even fall for another woman when one has already done so much for me and meant those requirements...And she's hott. XD

Work or not, evetually that kind of closeness would most likely evolve into romance.

Well it could but that doesn't mean it most certainly will. A lot of romantic relationships are destroyed because of certain traumatic experiences- though they may still be friends or friendly, sometimes the romance between a couple in such a scenario can end.

I'm not trying to persuade you- or anyone else- either way though, I'm just pointing out how I think it's a two-way street between Chris and Jill.

Maybe it was a simple kiss that was shared between Leon and Ada but that doesn't change the fact that Ada is "a part of him he can't let go" and the fact that Ada goes out of her way to help/save Leon- even though she's playing for the other team. Their relationship may never actually work given the fact that they're both walking different tracks, but you can still see that they have those kind of feelings for one another.

From what we've seen of Chris and Jill (which isn't much- if at all), you could argue that they have a brother and sister kind of relationship.
