I've been on a Friday the 13th binge myself, after I found this DVD set at the mall. (Even still has both pairs of 3D glasses for Part 3!)

And I need to replace my DVD of Part VI, the DVD has a crack in it. Not fun.

Nice! i love the Friday the 13th series!

sucks about your part VI disc, i was thinking of upgrading my collection to Blu-Ray (i own both region 4 (Aus) collection and the deluxe collection region 1 (US) sets) i might eventually even though there is no new bonus stuff but it would be good to have them all in high def

I saw "The Gods of Egypt" tonight. It was okay at best. It wasn't that good. The action and the CGI on the other hand was amazing! Unfortunately the film itself was meh. Gerard Butler is still amazing as always. I can't think of a single role he did that I didn't love. Even if the film was ****.

Today I watched Inside Out win Best Animated Feature, despite Anomalisa being for more deserving of the award.

Woody and Buzz must have rigged the votes.

Black Sails. And It's as awesome as ever.
It's hard to satiate my pirate needs, but this show has worked wonders staving the crave for the last 3 years.

Watched Creed. Awesome movie reminds me of the Million Dollar Baby. Oh and when that music played at the end my heart started to beat really hard and my eyes were filled with tears.

Currently watching parks and recreation, not the first time I've seen the series but it's one of those that I keep going back to

I saw "London Has Fallen" last night. It wasn't very good. It had potential but fell flat so many times. There were at least three parts where the main characters should have died, and would have in such a position. The plot armor made the film far to unbelievable.

I really like the actors Gerard Butler, Morgan Freeman, and Aaron Eckhart. This movie didn't do any of them justice.

I was watching the People vs OJ Simpson mini-series last night. While the casting choices are not great - Cuba is just too small to be OJ, David Schwimmer is just Ross trying to play Robert Kardashian, and Sarah Paulson is pretty wooden with a horrible wig, it's actually really, really interesting.

Though the scenes with the Kardashian sisters are so stupid. Why are they even there?

I used to think the same thing about David Schwimmer, then I watched Band of Brothers. TOTALLY changed my opinion of him as an actor. He NAILS the role of D*ck head drill instructor.

Watching Naruto with my roommate who has never seen it. The original, not that Shippuden crap! He's loving it, which is making me extremely happy!

Just watched the latest episode of The Walking Dead. I didn't used to really care about Gabriel, but now I think he's pretty cool.

So I finally finished the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer on Netflix after a few months of binge watching. Let the empty feeling you get after finishing a series commence (whether it's books, shows/movies, or video games).

I know I'm like 15 years too late with obsessing over this series but it really is a fun show; I love that 90s feel and as cheesy/goofy as the series was, it had a lot of well written life lessons along with loveable characters. That all being said, the final season definitely had its ups and downs, as they waisted certain episodes with really over the top storylines that did nothing to better the story and character development in the series (Willow's pair up with that one young 'would-be slayer' was really unnecessary). The final episode is just too ambiguous for me as well and left a lot to be desired.

I just got caught up with The People vs OJ Simpson. It is so interesting - there is so much **** that went on that I had NO idea about.

Saw the documentary Dinosaur 13 on Netflix that's about all the legal BS that surrounded the discovery of Sue the T-Rex. Pretty interesting seeing how the remains of the most complete T-Rex ended up in my city of Chicago. Makes me want to visit the Field Museum of Natural History again just to see it.

Also been watching X-Men: Evolution on Hulu. Haven't seen it since I was a kid so it's been good being able to rewatch it now that I'm older and can actually understand what's going on. Still not better than the 90s animated series but it's still enjoyable nonetheless.

That is exactly what i thought when Olympus has fallen.

This movie is funny as ****! I was laughing so hard that I almost puked in the theater. My stomach was in so much pain from the laughter. This movie has no shame nor boundaries.

I watched Witness (1985) with Harrison Ford.

It's kind of weird to see Danny Glover as a corrupt cop after four Lethal Weapon movies a Murtaugh.

Finally saw Gone Girl and I really liked it. The ending is kind of stupid though but that aside, really great movie.
