When I first got in to Zeppelin in high school (circa 2002), I felt like such a phony because they were always my Dads favorite band. But after nearly 2 decades of listening, I have to say, they will probably always be in my top 5 bands. You can listen to their music any time and in almost any occasion. I just listened to Physical Graffiti through the other day and forgot about how many songs I actually love on that album. Ten Years Gone is such a great tune that keeps on coming back to me year after year.
Led Zeppelin II is one of my favorite albums ever written to this day...When I first got in to Zeppelin in high school (circa 2002), I felt like such a phony because they were always my Dads favorite band. I always get into arguments because I like most of their albums better than II, something about the production on that album has a "crunchy" quality that I find fatiguing. But strangely, the huge bloated bass of LZ1 doesn't bother me at all.Led Zeppelin II is one of my favorite albums ever written to this day...
