Resident Evil 5 Sheva Australian accent?

I'm an auzzie & have a feeling the person who did sheva's voice is Australian. I'm probably wrong but would like to know...

I always thought it sounded british. Karen Dyer is her voice actress and she's american =)

its funny how they create a african native known as sheva but hire a british voice actress play her.

it sort of defeats the purpose of including her heritage & place of birth lol.
