RESIDENT EVIL: THE INBETWEEN SERIES!

This will be a fanfic written in script form and will be released in Episodes. It is set inbetween "Resident Evil: Apocalypse" and "Resident Evil: Extinction" and I am planning on covering EVERY SINGLE event that leads from the first movie to the other... so its a long term project.
Anyways, here is a little Teaser.

A PROLOGUE:

ALICE: (Voice over)

Umbrella thought they had destroyed the infection... they were wrong. Birds came in over the city, before the destruction, and feed of the infected flesh.
And when the city was destroyed... many of those birds had already left.
Now, the infection is slowly spreading across The United States... and we are fighting for our lives... trapped inside the quarantined country.

FADE IN:

EXT. ABANDONED MOTEL WITHIN USA - NIGHT.

We view The Abandoned hotel from the outside. It is clear (because there are trees and bushes outside the hotel) that the infection hasnt yet reached The "Desert level".
There are many crashed cars and fires outside the hotel, and a few undead are walking around in the background... searching for flesh.

CUT TO:

INT. HOTEL ROOM - NIGHT.

Alice just opens her blue beautiful eyes. Carlso Olivera is bent over her, having just awakened her.

CARLOS:

Alice... wake up, we need to leave!

ALICE: (Tired)

Already?

CARLOS:

As youve said yourself, Umbrella is probably tracking us... we need to stay on the move constantly.
And besides... Angie thought she saw what looked like an infected bear down in the Parking Lot... that cant be a good thing.

ALICE: (Rises up)

Alright, Alright... Just let me get dressed.

Carlos leaves the room to let Alices get dressed.
Carlos moves through the hallway and then enters-

INT. OTHER HOTEL ROOM - NIGHT.

Jill, Angie and L.J are in this room, having also just awakened. Angie appears to have woke up before everyone else, as she saw that infected bear outside her window.

JILL: (Packing her stuff)

Carlos, how is she doing?

CARLOS: (Makes sure Alice cant hear him)

She says shes fine... but im not convinced.

JILL:

Yea, shes been acting pretty strangely ever since we left that facility in Detroit.

(Beat)

You think they did something to her there?

CARLOS:

I dont know.
But shes hiding something from us... thats for sure.

We slide out through the door... to reveal that Alice has overheard the entire conversation from outside.

CUT TO:

EXT. SECRET UMBRELLA RESEARCH FACILITY. SOMEWHERE OUTSIDE USA - NIGHT.

We view the exteriors of the facility, it has a big Umbrella logo on the roof... so it is pretty clear that Umbrella owns it.

CUT TO:

INT. LABORATORY INSIDE THE FACILITY - NIGHT.

DR ISACS and WILLIAM BIRKIN just enter the Lab. William is smiling.

ISACS:

So, Wesker decided to give you another new Lab, huh?

WILLIAM: (Pleased)

Indeed.

The two men start walking through the Lab, checking it out. Isacs looks a little jelious.

ISACS:

That man must really like you... giving you a new Lab every five days.

WILLIAM:

Has he really been that ruff to you?

ISACS:

Always looking down at my research, Yes.

WILLIAM:

What can i say... Wesker simply likes some people more...

(Beat)

and some people less.
Thats him.

ISACS: (Changing subject)

So, what have you been up to lately, William?

WILLIAM: (Sarcastic)

Nothing special, just trying to keep the bloody T-Virus from spreading to every country in the world and turning EVERY SINGLE human being into a flesh eating undead thing...

(Beat)

You?

ISACS:

Pretty much the same.

There is a moment of silence... and then suddenly, Isacs cellphone rings.
He quickly picks it up and answers.
After a short moment-

ISACS: (Whispering to William)

Its Wesker again...

Then he heads out of the Lab... leaving William alone.
Once William has made sure that he is alone, he wonders of to a secret Locker under a table.
He types in the code... and the Locker opens...
Revealing a test tube with an early version of the G-VIRUS inside it.
William smiles evil.

FADE OUT.

Next Part of "Rotten (Part 1)"!

FADE IN:

EXT. CITY ROAD - NIGHT.

We view this road for a moment. It is surronded by many city buildings, a few undead here and there, but other then that... Its silent and abandoned... untill now.
A large black car suddenly swoops by the camera and drives through this city road.

CUT TO:

INT. BLACK CAR DRIVER SEAT - NIGHT.

Carlos is driving the car, Alice is at his side, while Jill, L.J and Angie are in the backseat.
It is a silent and tired mood in the car, everyone have just awakened (previously in the hotel) and no one is up for talking.

JILL: (To Carlos)

Is there a gas station anywhere nearby?

Carlos and Alice quickly have a look outside the windows. They cannot see any gas station yet... merely buildings and houses... and a few undead walking around here and there.

CARLOS:

I cant see any.

ALICE: Me neither.

CARLOS: (Turns to Jill)

What do you think we should do?

JILL:

Drive around untill we find one.

Carlos turns back in his seat... and continues driving through the city... searching for a Gas station.

CUT TO:

EXT. IN ANOTHER PART OF THE CITY - NIGHT.

This is a silent and misty part of the city, where there arent many undead. It looks in every way like a normal city street a normal night in a normal world... untill-

A SCREAM IS HEARD!

and a young Woman runs into frame... appearently chased by something. We recognise this as CLAIRE REDFIELD, looking a little younger (as this is five years before "RE: Extinction") then we "Last" saw her.
She is wearing a black leather jacket and a shorter, reddish dress beneath it (a homege to Alice in "Resident Evil" :lol and that makes it a little harder to run from whatever is chasing her.
As Claire continues running, we zoom out... to reveal that she is being chased by a MUTATED LICKER, like the one in "Resident Evil".
The giant creature roars as it slowly approaches its prey... a roar that is heard all over the city.

CUT TO:

INT. DRIVER SEAT - NIGHT.

Carlos, Alice, Jill and the others have all heard the roar and have all now been snapped out of their thoughts by it.

L.J:

What the **** was that!?

ALICE:

That sounded like...

(Her eyes widen in fear)

Oh my god... we need to get out of here... NOW!

Carlos is about to object... but Alice interrupts-

ALICE:

Carlos, NOW!!!

Carlos turns the car around... and starts heading out of The City.
After only a few more moments of driving... Claire runs out into the street, having seen the car, and waves to them to stop.

JILL: (The first to notice Claire)

Carlos, STOP THE CAR!

Carlos quickly stops the car, just a few feet from Claire. Calire quickly gets inside, and looks at them greatefully.

CLAIRE:

Thank you all!

CARLOS:

Dont mention it.

(He continues heading out of the city... away from "The Mutated Licker")

So, whats your name?

CLAIRE: (Smiles)

Claire... Claire Redfield.

ALICE:

Thats a pretty name.

CLAIRE:

Thanks... i guess.

There is a moment of silence.

CARLOS: (Turns around to Alice and Jill)

And you two!
We REALLY need to make up some rules..
For example, from now on, the phrase "Carlos, STOP THE CAR!" is strictly forbidden.

Alice and Jill look at eachother... and start to laugh.
Carlos simply rolls his eyes, turns back to driving and mutters-

CARLOS: (Mutters to himself)

Women...

FADE OUT.

Third part of "Rotten Part 1!"

FADE IN:

EXT. SECRET UMBRELLA RESEARCH FACILITY. SOMEWHERE OUTSIDE USA - NIGHT.

We view The Facility for a moment.

CUT TO:

INT. FACILITY BOARD ROOM - NIGHT.

This board room looks just like the one in "Resident Evil: Extinction", with the hologram of Wesker "sitting" at the edge of the round metallic table... he appears to be waiting for someone.

NEW ANGLE

to reveal that Dr. Isacs has just entered the room. It appears that Wesker was waiting for him in particular, as he says-

WESKER: (Irritated)

Dr. Isacs... you finally decided to show up.

DR. ISACS: (Sits down at the table)

Sorry for that, i was busy with a... "Special Project".

WESKER: (Confused)

What special project?
Its not that "Nemesis clone" again, right?
Because i strictly told you not to proceed with that project.

DR. ISACS: (Laughs)

Of course not, Sir.

(Beat)

What did you want then, Sir?

WESKER:

I wanted a status report The T-Virus Outbreak.

DR. ISACS: (Looking worried)

Im afraid, thats not going very well.
The Virus has spread even more and more over the past few weeks... Were not gonna be able to contain it within The United States for much longer.

There is a short moment of silence, as Wesker thinks.

WESKER: (Concerned)

What do you think we should do then, Doctor?

DR. ISACS: (Has a hard time saying this)

I suggest we move our operations underground as soon as possible.

WESKER: (Shocked)

What!?

DR. ISACS:

We have to accept that fact... that The T-Virus is now out of control... and it will soon be all over the world.

(Beat)

Now, we can either go down with the rest of the world... or save what we can.

We zoom in on Wesker as he considers... looking more worried then ever.
But before we can find out what he has decided, we-

FADE OUT.

FADE IN:

EXT. COUNTRY ROAD - NIGHT.

This road is located just outside of the city where our friends found Claire, it is surronded by beautiful trees and big bushes.
There is a moment of silence... But, SUDDENLY, The Black Jeep swoops by the camera (having just left The City) and parks under the shadow of a tree.
There are no undead nearby to be seen.

INT. DRIVERS SEAT - NIGHT.

Carlos just shuts the car down and is preparing to get out of the Jeep.

ALICE:

Why did you stop?

CARLOS:

We all need to rest for a few minutes.

(Beat)

Besides, i need a smoke.

Alice laughs slightly as Carlos gets his Cigarrettes and gets out of the car. After a short moment, we see the light of his Cigarrette being lightened and Cigarrette smoke is soon seen in the air.
Alice turns around to face Jill and the others in the-

INT. BACKSEAT - NIGHT.

The mood is pretty silent and they all look tired.

ALICE:

Anyone wants to accompany me on a little walk?

JILL: (Desperate to get out of the car)

Ill go.

There is a short moment of silence as Alice and Jill prepare to get out of the car.

Suddenly-

CLAIRE: (Tired)

Ill go too!

CUT TO:

EXT. COUNTRY ROAD SIDE. LATER - STILL NIGHT.

Alice, Jill and Claire are walking down the bushy side of the road, chitchatting about stuff.
They now come in on the subject of Claires past.

JILL:

So, Claire, whats your story?

CLAIRE: (Confused)

My "Story"?

JILL:

The events that lead to you being chased by that... "thing".

CLAIRE:

Aha, you mean that.
Well, i used to live in that little city back there...
The Infection reached the city... everybody died... then came back... i ran... for days and days. I went into hiding where i could... but that Big Mutated thing quickly found me where ever i went... so, i ran again... and then i ran into you guys.
The rest i think you know.

JILL:

Aha... im so sorry.

CLAIRE:

We all lost people we loved and cared about to this virus... i should be gratefull that my mom and dad are okey, at least.

Alice and Jill suddenly stop, looking at Claire.

ALICE:

Youre parents are alive?

CLAIRE:

Yea, they live in New York... barricaded themselves inside their appartment. I spoke to them (through Phone) just last night.

JILL: (To Alice)

Thats Great!

ALICE: (To Jill)

Weve gotta tell Carlos.

But Suddenly, Alice turns around to face... A MUTATED DOBBERMAN, who has just came out of a bush. The creature shows of its sharp teeth and quickly jumps at Alice.
Jill draws her gun and quickly SHOOTS the creature to the ground, Alice then pulls out her long Dagger... and quickly stabs the Dobberman in the head... killing it.

ALICE:

I didnt see that one coming.

Jill and Claire step to her side.

JILL:

You think there are any more?

A roaring is suddenly heard in the distance.

ALICE:

I dont know... but i wouldnt like to stick around to find out.

And with those words, Alice heads back towards the Jeep, quickly followed by Jill and Claire.

EXT. OUTSIDE THE JEEP - NIGHT.

Alice, Jill and Claire have just arrived there. Alice quickly confronts Carlos, who is still smoking.

ALICE:

We need to go to New York.

CARLOS: (Confused)

Excuse me?

ALICE:

Ill explain everything in The Jeep... we need to get out of here now. There are infected Dogs in the area.

The roars are heard in the distance again, and Carlos is convinced that they indeed need to leave.
He quickly puts his Cigarrette out and gets inside The Jeep... quickly followed by the others.

CUT TO:

INT. DR. ISAACS LAB - NIGHT.

Dr. Isaacs just enters his own little Lab. We immediately notice that Wesker has given Isaacs a much smaller Lab then William Birkins.
Dr. Isaacs opens a secret door in the wall... and gets inside The Elevator behind it.

We follow the elevators path as it heads down to-

INT. DR. ISAACS SECRET LAB - NIGHT.

Dr. Isaacs exits The Elevator and walks through the Lab... heading towards his desk. As he walks through, we discover that he is COMPLETELY obssesed with "The Nemesis Program". He has tons of pictures of "The Old Nemesis" and many files about it... scattered all over The little Lab.
The camera stops at one of the posters... this poster is a picture of JILL VALENTINE.
Dr. Isaacs has written a fat red text across The Poster saying "Our Savior!".

FADE OUT.

EXT. BLACK JEEP - STILL NIGHT.

The Jeep is driving through the country... heading towards New York.
It is soon going to be morning.

CUT TO:

INT. DRIVERS SEAT - NIGHT.

Carlos is still driving the car, Alice is at his side and the rest are in the backseat. We notice that L.J is teaching Angie how to play Poker, Jill merely rolls her eyes at this and Claire simply finds it strange.

JILL: (To Carlos)

How much gas have we got left?

CARLOS:

Not very much.
We won't make it to New York if we dont stumble upon a Gas station soon.

There is a moment of silence after this.

Then-

ALICE: (Looking out through the window)

There!

There is a Gas station coming up ahead!

All of our friends look out through the front window, and it can now clearly be seen... a Gas station in the middle of a small town, surronded by a large forest.
There appears to be several undead walking the streets here and there.

CARLOS:

There are several of those things around here, so we're gonna have to be VERY carefull.

We heard the sound of Jill and Alice loading their guns at the same time.

ALICE AND JILL:

We'll take care of that, Carlos.

The two women roll down the windows... and start shooting at The Undead people on the streets as they head towards the little Gas station.
Both are VERY skilled "shooters" and they manage to take down many of The Undead.
After only a few moments, the path towards the Gas station has been cleaned of them.
Jill and Alice roll the windows up again and then turn back to Carlos.

JILL:

Now, that's been taken care of at least.

CARLOS: (Parking the Car in front of the Gas station)

Thank you, Ladies.

CUT TO:

EXT. SECRET UMBRELLA RESEARCH FACILITY. SOMEWHERE OUTSIDE USA - NIGHT.

We view the exteriors of The Facility for a moment.

INT. CONTROL ROOM - NIGHT.

Dr. Isaacs and William Birkin just enters. A female Technician is already seated at the Control Table.

DR. ISAACS: (To The Technician)

Attempt to track "Program Alice" again.

THE TECHNICIAN: (Starts clicking)

Yes, sir.

CUT TO:

EXT. THE UMBRELLA SATELLITE - SPACE.

We watch as the familiar satellite ("Resident Evil: Apocalypse") activates and starts tracking for Alice.

CUT TO:

EXT. GAS STATION - NIGHT.

Alice and Jill are taking a little walk near the Forest edge while the others are "tanking" The Jeep.

CLOSE ON

Alice, as The Umbrella logo starts appearing in her eyes... and we view as Umbrella try to track her.
Jill clearly notices as Alice starts shaking and screaming.
After a moment... it stops and her eyes turn back to normal.

CUT TO:

INT. CONTROL ROOM - NIGHT.

The Technician turns to Dr. Isaacs.

THE TECHNICIAN:

She's blocked us again, Sir.

Dr. Isaacs looks disappointed.

CUT BACK TO:

Where we left Alice and Jill.

JILL: (To Alice)

What the hell just happened?

There is a moment of silence as Alice is forced to tell Jill.

ALICE:

Umbrella are tracking me... they have been doing so ever since we escaped from the Detroit Facility.
But Iv'e managed to block them out every time they try to control me.

There is a moment of silence.

JILL: (Understands)

Oh...

ALICE:

There is also another thing i haven't told you, Jill...

(Makes sure the others are far away)

I gathered some info in The Detroit Facility before i got out of there and you picked me up...
Info about Dr. Isaacs, an Umbrella scientist, wanting you!

Jill is shocked by these news.

JILL: (Confused)

What the hell would he need me for?

ALICE:

You have the genes in your blood that Umbrella could use to make you into their next Bio Weapon.

(Moment of silence)

I didn't tell you because it would only make you worried.

And as we view Jill's shocked face-

FADE OUT.

Second Question:

I'm finishing school this week (on Thursday, yeeey! :lol... then i will go on a vacation to my "Origin country", where most of my relatives live.
Once i am there, i will have the time to write more to this story, because my aunt has a good computer in her house.

When I read a book, I can tell how far into it I am, but with your story I have no idea whether we are 3% into the story, or maybe 30%.
I'm a noob in the RE universe, people who have seen the movies probably understands more.

Resident evil: Apocalypse is the second movie, yes.
and the movies are not canon, they have nothing to do with the games.
see the movies as "an alternate reality" or something like that.

and the story has just began, don't worry.
