Resident Evil 4 Question about the end of chapter 2-2

At the end of chapter 2-2 you and Luis have the job of killing the enemies in the cabin and eventually the scene is triggered and then the chapter ends.
The question I have is this: do you have to kill a certain number of enemies in order for the scene to trigger or is there simply a time limit until the scene triggers, thus making the number of enemies killed irrelevant?
If you do need to kill a certain number of enemies then can you please tell me what the number is?

My best guess is that there is a time limit, perhaps close to 10 minutes? I doubt there's a certain required number of villagers to kill, but I think you have to take down any number of them to stay alive, obviously.

Ah, I've just found out that it is indeed just a time limit; I stumbled upon a video where somebody managed to do the cabin bit without killing any enemies. Louis didn't kill any enemies either.

I have been trying to do a British accent, so I am also trying to learn if people are British or not by there posts. The word "Bit" Gave it away.
