Whereas Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City might be readying to shuffle its way onto store shelves just in time for its official launch next week, Capcom are already busily working on a freebie piece of DLC for gamers to sink their teeth into, come April 10th, explains Brett Elston on the Capcom-unity blog. The add-on will allow gamers the chance to enter Raccoon City as a member of a Spec Ops team, sent in to determine the source of the deadly virus outbreak. Here's what Capcom had to tease say about the upcoming DLC pack:
'On a battle field that can only exist within the terrifying Resident Evil universe, players will need to fight off the opposing team members from the Umbrella Security Service (U.S.S.) as well as zombies and B.O.W.’s to succeed in their mission. In a storyline that takes place between Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3, fans of the series are sure to be pleased when they re-visit the moment Jill Valentine encounters the Nemesis.'
Jill Valentine? Nemesis? Resident Evil 3? Suddenly, it feels like 1999 all over again. Brace yourself for boob tubes and miniskirts galore as the Spec Ops DLC pack hits the Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Store in April.
