Umbrella Corps Any of you experiencing a problem in 'The Experiment'

So I've completed the training and then went to do the single player part of the game, The Experiment. However, the first level went fine, but the second level was meant to give me a PDW, and the third level was meant to give me a shotgun. Both times I had just the pistol I started on the first level with. Am I missing something here? I can't seem to change my load-out, or is it just a bug?

I dont know, I played the first mission and I think it didn't explain what to do well enough. I will get more into it later.

This is not a bug lol, to get these weapons you must find on map weapon crate.
