Have the Christmas dinner cooking and I'm thinking about having a glass of Bailey's while I'm waiting. Well, it is Christmas after all :D

Enjoy your day everyone. Merry Christmas.

The Alien: Covenant trailer looks pretty meh to me. Not in the bad sense, just in the sense that it doesn't excite me nor does it bum me out. It's there.

Maybe I'm just tired of the Xenomorphs now. I wanna see more of the Engineers.

This year is determined to be an a-hole till the end. Carrie Fisher got struck by a heart attack. Just get the **** outta the way already, 2016.

That one cuts me deep. Not quite as deeply as Bowie has, but damn close. I've had a giant subway poster for his "Patience" album on proud display in my home since 2004. I love George Michael...

Hi hi. What to do when you are slightly intoxicated? Pretend to be sober? Pretend to be drunk?

I seems to have lost my carrot nose.

Edit: my color tag always work when I'm completely sober.

Edit 2: Moved

I got excited as soon as the face-hugger appeared, but I totally understand why it didn't excite you. Still looking forward to it.

I'm looking forward to how they execute the idea of two David androids.

I wasn't that impressed with the trailer at first either, but it is slowly growing on me and I am becoming more eager to see what goes down this time around. I like that it is going to be scaled down more and I love that an actual Alien creature will be featured again!

The sex scene at the end of the trailer threw me off a bit. While it seems like a stupid idea, I think they should have left it out of the trailer all together this way no one would see it coming while actually watching the movie.

On a slightly different note:

I was watching Aliens a little while back and, though I absolutely adore the movie and its characters, I couldn't help but realize why some fans dislike this film. Alien set the series up with this intricate/complex alien species and then Aliens kind of comes along and dumbs them down a bit. I still love it all the same but I can see some flaws.

I also hated that they included the sex scene, but not just because of the fact that we'll see it coming now, but because it just didn't seem like it belonged in the trailer.
That scream in the end, right after the sex scene, was really cool though. It reminded me of the chestburst scene from the first movie. When the Alien escapes Kane's chest, it makes a very similar screeching sound.
I actually watched both scenes again to confirm that I wasn't just imagining it, and it really does sound very similar. Maybe the directors wanted us to reminisce a bit watching the trailer. If that's true, it's a nice little touch; or maybe I'm just way off.

CT: I wish I wasn't such a stresshead. I've been panicking today about all the things I have to do, so I've made lists of certain things. There were only three things that required my immediate attention, and they took twenty minutes. Everything else I have to do is for a trip to London I have in January, and mostly includes just shopping for stuff. It's annoying because I still feel like I've got too much to do and not enough time...

Well, you got yourself to make lists, that's a good step in the right direction, I suppose.
Once you visit London, I'm sure you'll get rid of most of the stress that's bothering you. :)

CT: Will there be any famous people still alive when we enter the year 2017? What is this? A virus attacking famous artists?

When that happens, have a drink. Or a joint. Or both. I believe it helps.

That's awesome that you're traveling to London soon! I recently bought tickets for a trip to Germany in August, I'm sure I'll be freaking out more the closer that date comes.

Lists are a good way to keep focused and productive though! I went and bought myself a planner a few days ago to help me stay on track with everything. I'm one of those who procrastinates all too well. :p
