Here's a little fanfic with four chapters that I wrote last year, starring the Burton family as they prepare for a huge Christmas festival two years after the events of Revelations 2.

Christmess_Girl.jpg

Synopsis:
It's that time of the year again, and Natalia is looking forward to spending a lovely evening with her new family and friends. But how is she going to do that with Alex Wesker's voice in her head constantly whispering evil things and trying to turn Christmas into a horrible ChristMESS?

Characters:
Natalia and Alex Wesker, the Burton family, the Redfields, and Jill. Special appearance by Jo the cat.

Pairings:
None (well, except for Barry and his wife).

Whether or not you're in the Christmas mood yet, enjoy!
Also, special thanks to @Jen for proof-reading.

I liked what I read, which was a chapter and a half before I realized I really should be getting ready for work. I'll try to read the rest after work. :)

I read Act I so far and I liked it. I was under the impression that the story would have a positive, non-serious tone since its about Christmas, but it actually feels like a logical continuation of the canonical story when you realize that Alex has the power to ruin certain occasions not just for Natalia but her whole family.

The whole premise of ruining Christmas might sound unnecessary and even childish to some, but I think it makes sense that, following the events of Revelations 2, Alex would begin taking baby steps towards influencing Natalia's life; all in order to achieve her ultimate, dastardly goal a number of years later.
Good job, Hel!

Thanks for the kind reviews, both of you! I'm glad you like it enough to almost forget to go to work. The idea for this story randomly popped into my head a few weeks before last Christmas, and I was trying to find a middle ground between a nice, funny Christmas story and something more serious that would actually fit into the RE canon. I'm not going to spoil anything, but STEM, you might be on the right track. Just continue reading to find out (and feel free to laugh at some of Alex's pranks).
