I know its carla but I still think of her as ada. You see I have never viewed Carla as Carla but as "Ada". Because Carla ceased to exist when she was transformed into Ada Wong. I simply call her "Ada" with quotations

But she was still Carla. Her consciousness was still hers and the only thing that changed was her appearance. Simmons had a hard on for Ada and wanted to get revenge on Carla. Basically what Carla is doing to Simmons is basically revenge sex xD

Though I do feel ya. I always love to troll new players that Carla IS Ada and they are always going WTF?! No way! LMAO
