What are you thinking? (Part 2)

In a few months time, one of my best friends is leaving our sixth form to study English Literature at Oxford University. I'm a year and a half older than him. I can't even finish Year 13 yet. Curse my friends and their lack of ill health. Curse them all to well-paying jobs!

Starting to think I'm a bit of a shopaholic/spendaholic. Had a five hour shopping spree on Tuesday, bought more clothes on Wednesday, and went on eBay with the sole purpose of buying one nail polish and ended up buying about fifteen tonight. I cannot be trusted with money...

I love it when people give me zero notice to attend an event despite the fact that I've repeatedly told them not to pull that last minute **** with me.

Makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

It was so beautiful, yet so disgusting. The beauty of death juxtaposed against the horror of autocracy. (Slightly pretentious, I know.) For the love of God, can we see the White Walkers!? There's hundreds of thousands of them and yet we have to see Bran being an idiot!
I didn't find it disgusting at all - I relished it and wished it went on about 10 minutes longer, haha. That being said, I think the show runners David Benioff and Dan Weiss don't really know their show at all. I remember watching an interview where they said viewers will feel sorry for Cersei and Joffrey because 'at the end of the day, it's a young boy reaching out for his mommy'. I didn't get that at all… for me it was like, Mussolini in a pretty blonde wig crying over dead Hitler. No sympathy for either one, whatsoever - loved every second of it.

The lion still has his claws.

I sense a bit of foreboding there. Shae always calls Tyrion her Lion. He's in a bit of a jam right now, but I have a feeling he's got something up his sleeve. He always does. He's Tyrion.

I can't believe all the trash that ends up in the moderation queue. Can someone please nuke the Chinese city of Fuzhou ASAP, it's located on the coast near Taiwan. There are evidently an ISP based in that city hosting thousands of zombie computers. And they have for some reason business to do at RE.org. :goaway: They should know that in this community, we use zombies as cannon fodder.

Job searching is absolutely frustrating. 1 in 5 jobs you stumble across are unpaid internships - which I used to think were not a bad idea, but they're so incredibly prevalent now that it's terribly obvious it's just a way for employers to use loopholes in the Employment Standards Act to get their paws on slave labour.

I say criminalize them - they should only be allowed for non-profits, if that. It's obvious that no one wants to pay their employees anymore - because they were definitely not anywhere near as prevalent 5 years ago.
