"Resident Evil 7 & 8" are the worse games I've ever seen

Resident Evil Village is a restored folklore tale that blends werewolves, vampires and the parasitic organism to strange effect. I'm going to play it sometime to find out just how these three elements combine well enough to earn the game high ratings. I'd like to know just how they do because I...

Resident Evil 5 REmake of 5?

No remake of this game, please. Remaster it, improve the gameplay, AI, allow Chris and Sheva to move while aiming, by all means, but RE5 doesn't need a remake. It's generally all right.

Resident Evil 5 What is Uroborus?

In on source, it's a variant of Las Plagas, which seems to be supported by Las Plagas reference in the arc file of the Uroborus test subject. In another, it's a variant of the progenitor virus. Which of these two ideas are correct?

Resident Evil 5 How would you change RE5's story?

I would've wanted the executioner to be the recurring mini boss instead of the chainsaw majini. I thought the recycled Dr. Salvador was a weak idea. I plan to swap him for the executioner when I replay RE5, if the stages' level design will allow for it. I would've liked Uroborus Mkono to have...

Resident Evil 2 (2019) The G-Virus attempt to restore Birkin's original head

You could be right. I'm thinking it could also be that Birkin's second head was a result of the G-Virus canisters he ate and that the pre-existing strain he'd injected himself was trying to restore his original head to combat the invasive new mutation.

Resident Evil 2 (2019) The G-Virus attempt to restore Birkin's original head

In the original, something very strange happens. During the fight with Birkin's second form, when he sustains enough damage, his human head rises up and tries to return to its original position. This wasn't featured in the Remake, but the position of the head when G2 drops down into the lab...

Resident Evil 2 (2019) How would you rate REmake 2?

I like the remake because it's more realistic than the original. The already impressive prerendered backgrounds were developed more in the reimagined version and the characters were a little more relatable. The third person perspective enhances the game play nicely and makes head hunting a...

Resident Evil 2 (2019) RE 2 Remake Scenario Design Choice

The way I see it, the formula from the first Resident Evil game was reused to recreate the same kind of variance that both the original and remaster were unique for. I get the feeling that Capcom wanted to let fans experience two separate realities that could have occured because of the concept...

Resident Evil 2 (2019) Mr. X's missing attack

As a matter of fact, there could be another move that was left in the game files but never used. Mr X was exported from RE2 Remake and imported into Garry's Mod. He can perform a move that involves him lifting an entity up by the throat with one hand and then punching him or her in the head with...

Resident Evil 2 (2019) Mr. X's missing attack

I did it. Mr. X performs the axehandle attack if you dodge his first punch on danger health status and then stay within arms reach. It's a one-hit kill move that you can't survive, at least while playing on hardcore mode.

Resident Evil 2 (2019) Mr. X's missing attack

I've tried this. He will not perform the attack, no matter what I do. I did a test to determine if he would and this is what I came up with... I let him hit me once, knocking me some distance away. He then followed up with his face grab attack and after I counter it, he hit me with a single...

Resident Evil 2 (2019) Mr. X's missing attack

I have played RE2 Remake many times and I have yet to see Mr. X perform an attack in which he puts one fist in his hand, raises it above his head and slams it down. I have seen all his other attacks, (punch, leaping punch, choke slam and turning hook), but not this one. My fellow gamers have...

Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (1999) The state of Nemesis after his first acid bath

One very good detail of the battle with Nemesis in the Water Treatment Room is after he gets showered by acid for the first time. He not only looses two of the three tentacles on his right arm, but he also starts bleeding continually from two spots on his body and starts staggering around...

New characters for Resident Evil 8?

So far, Resident Evil has avoided creating stereotypes. Depth is important to all the characters and for the series to continue, the people involved must be involved in something or other. Angles are important and everybody should play roles in them and make sure the story is formed with them...

    Creature physics

I've always been very interested in the behavior of the AI of many of the Resident Evil games. The Japanese pay great attention to detail, physically speaking, and many of the entities in the game have movements that are unique to them. I'd like to explore the various aspects of their builds and...
