I don't know.
In theory only fire should kill them, and even that is misleading. Because if you fire a Flame round to a standing plant-zombie, you will only take him down for a while.
In my experience, the only effective way to deal permanently with those guys (and i want to kill things that...
Yes, but the problem is that
1- Claire does not find the flamethrower
2- simply take them down for a while is not enough. I like permanent solutions. (not to mention that a normal man would try to kill a monster, instead of stunning it for a bit, so that it can ambush him later )
That's where the hand grenades become your best friend.
Especially to me, because when i reached the lab i had only a few flame rounds.
And as you know, without fire you can't kill those planr-zombies.
Basically, the first half of the lab for me was a huge trial / error / reload.
Finding the...
Agree, there could have been more enemy types.
But, on a side note, i'm happy that we do not have to face those damned acid-spitting plants.
On an even more side note, the new plant-zombie monster (and eerie bgm when you face it) is superb. A great addition to the game.
First Licker in Leon 2nd Scenario is unavoidable, when you walk under it he will always drop down and attack you.
That, or he really really hates me.
Anyway, since your strongest weapon at that time of the game is the gun... i discovered that a flash grenade works.
While he is stunned, run...
True. But sadly this is not great as the original RE2 was.
But finally, finally... i have played a RE game that was good and truly satisfied me. This did not happen since RE:Code Veronica, in my opinion the last of the good RE games.
Finally, CAPCOM is maybe understanding again how to make...
9 / 10.
While i still prefer original RE2 game, my favourite RE game, i do like this game.
I rated it 9 / 10 because i liked how the developers took care of even the small details in the game mechanics.
It's a solid game, i can't deny that and as such it deserve it's praises.
My only...
About FFVII, i won't be so sure. I mean, FF6 for example was a way better FF game in my opinion ( and even in many other's opinions).
FFVII had a lot of popularity mostly because it was the first FF game in 3D for a console like PSX. Plot, characters and so on were way better in FF6.
But as i...
The downside is that i have done at least 2 Game Overs. And that's not because i am playing bad or getting hit often...
it's simply because i'm playing solo as Rebecca. This means sometimes Capcom forces you to play as Billy, and those times i'm screwed because all the good stuff is in...
As the title says, i really can't help but think that her character has a big inconsistance from RE1 to RE0.
I mean, in RE1 she was clearly potrayed as the rookie of the team. Almost unable to fight, unlikely to survive on her own ( see hunter incident, or the fact that she clings to Chris like...
I have only played for 2-3 hours, so no spoilers please!
I honestly stumbled on this HD rematered version by random luck.
I mean, i knew RE0 was a Nintendo-only game, so i gave up years ago. Also, i was expecting that the new PC hd remastered game would have been RE2 ( oh, how i'm waiting...
No, RE2 in my opinion is only the best Resident Evil game. But the best PS1 game ?
No, RE2 was amazing, but so were other PS1 games that i bought as a kid when they were published :
1- Metal Gear Solid 1 !!! THE BEST. ( But i have to say that it was even better with the italian voice acting...
Nah, you are not the only one. Mee too. Well, i like both of them to tell the truth.
Only thing i did not like was the remake of the Mansion in some places.
1- i liked the original room where you fought the giant snake for the last time.
2- The " library " is nice, but i prefer the original...
Well, what can i say if not that i mostly agree with you ?
Leon and Helena ( i played as Helena ) are the most oldschool-like RE campaign.
1- The infected cityes, that somehow reminds you of RE2
2- Alone in a city full of zombies, plus the zombies that keep spawning make you always on edge...
