You can pause the game, I think Select pauses it and Start brings up your PDA, I'm 99% sure.

Sure, the story is good, I still have fond memories of RE2 on my Playstation 1 and the sleepless nights whenever I saw the zombies eat people outside Kendo's shop. But it just wouldn't work in co-op, it wouldn't be a remake, it would be a reboot.

Co-op, I don't know, there's not a need for co-op since the old RE's didn't have armies of dead marching towards you. Two people to bring down the 3 zombies in each area would be too much. But I'd definitely want to see it remade.

Yes, it's a two-stick configuration, left for movement right for camera and aiming. It's great though, I think the archaic tank mechanics were more limiting than scary, and would be a step back to use in a 2012 high-profile game.

Exactly, the "fans" were kicking and moaning because Outbreak #2 didn't "innovate" or "improve" over the first, and when RE4 brings something revolutionary not just for the franchise but for a whole genre of games, they still kick and moan because "it's not RE". It's pretty difficult to listen...

Fanboys != fans, for me. It's just not the same. The former cling onto their "precious" like Gollum and don't want anything else, even if it's technology from 20 years ago.

Wesker is action-y, but I wouldn't judge him as a weak character yet, since Sherry and him talk about his payment. Why did Sherry hire him? I don't think she did because he's a one-man-army that'll take out the zombies across Edonia. Damn, I hate such teases, but I do want to play them.
